Brazilian star Neymar has returned to training to provide Paris Saint Germain (PSG)with a big boost ahead of their two-legged last 16 tie with Real Madrid in the Champions League.
Brazilian star Neymar has been injured since the league match with Saint Etienne at the end of November. He was the victim of an horrendous tackle which led to him being stretchered off during the French Ligue 1 clash at the home of Saint Etienne.
Neymar would be expected to line up with Lionel Messi and KylianMbappe in a fearsome attack when Real Madrid visit the Parc des Princes next week.
While Neymar is fit for the first leg of the Real Madrid game, PSG will be without Sergio Ramos who won’t recover from a calf injury in time for the game. The Spaniard won’t play against his former team in the first of the two legs after he sustained the aforementioned injury in training. Ramos has been plagued by calf issues for the better part of the last two seasons and it has been rumoured that the 35-year-old Spanish international could retire this season mainly due to his injury problems.
Ramos has played the full duration of a match twice since he signed for PSG at the start of this season on a free transfer after his Real Madrid contract was not renewed at the end of last season when it came to an end. The central defender was the Real Madrid skipper when he left the club last summer. Brazil left-back Marcelo has since replaced him as the Real Madrid captain.
